Red Ruthless Ginyu Tournament Report

Greetings fellow DBZ addicts! This article is coming at you hot on the heels of my undefeated (spoilers) run in the most recent OCTGN League Tournament, hosted by the handsome, skilled and generous Kevin Dennis. I really appreciate the work he did to make this tournament happen, and I am grateful to the devs and other community organizers for everything they do to give us opportunities to hang out with one another and play this stupid, beautiful game. Before my first match against Kelly Dennis, he asked “Why Ruthless?” In early testing with the Universal Clash expansion, I was most excited to play Red style because of the incredible new toys it received. Red Distracting Shot , Sundering Strike and Charged Beam are all wildly powerful cards, and I wanted to play all of them in a single deck. Tournament Winning Unity Supreme Kai Speedball: NJ Dragon Prix Report

This was a small tournament but the competition was still top tier. Wayne, Kelly, Brian, and the Studioso’s are all players you have to respect sitting across from. So before I start I just want to acknowledge yes it was a smaller tournament but it was hard fought nonetheless. It was actually a last minute decision that I could even make it to the Prix because I found a chance flight to Philadelphia for $66! So if there’s a tournament you’re eyeing up attending don’t be afraid to scout some prices out because you might find a deal! I played Unity Supreme Kai, a pet deck I’ve been toying with for a few months now. It’s a strong speedball deck, rivaling even Radiant Slug. Anyway, let the games begin! Hey everyone! Here is a new spoiler for the upcoming set: Red Barrier. This is a pretty decent card for Red Relentless decks. It can be tutored by Red Surgical Strike and in tandem with Red Reverse you can have a fairly devastating lineup of mods.
